Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. Most of us at some time in our life will experience a mental health issue.  In fact one out of  four of us will experience  psychological distress at some stage.  

Talking About Invisible Illness

Max Silverman talks about mental illness as a biological illness, a disease of the brain. It is an invisible illness and it is highly stigmatised. We do not know how to talk about mental illness. We do not want to talk about mental illness. We characterise it and dramatise it. We blame and we shame.
