  1. We had two suicides in our generational family. There are several causes, one being the conservative Church’s attitude to forms of sexual deviation from the norm. Homosexual young people are four times more likely to suicide than the general population. Can we ever imagine the mental anguish of a young person within a conservative Christian family, who discovers the have same sex attraction? They face rejection by family and tribe (the Church). The Church need to have an earnest and deep conversation on this issue.
